appearances.

Elizabeth is a pale slender brunette young woman with attractive, ample bust and hips. Her eyes are her most striking feature, wide round and the color of a beach sky. Due to a combination of circumstance and dark life experience, Elizabeth's style has changed quite dramatically from that she demonstrated at the beginning of the game. She wears dark striking makeup, making herself look fierce but classy.

Her clothing changes have always been of significance, and this outfit is no different. Slick tall black heels, dark fishnet stalkings, a tight black pencil skirt and a skintight blouse adorned with a red neck scarf. She only kept the bird pin that Booker had chosen for her. She needed to blend in to her current surroundings, but it's my interpretation that Elizabeth was trying to make herself look fierce and in control, which I believe her style choices would continue to reflect in-game.

Elizabeth's stride can vary from confident (imagine those heels 'click-click-clicking away) to soft footed enough for expert sneaking. Elizabeth has a kind of natural talent for stealth (augmented with a certain plasmid). Elizabeth doesn't have an accept, but she speaks with a very proper, slightly advanced vocab.

To others, Elizabeth might come off a little cold, but very intelligent. Attractive, but aloof, and maybe a little somber. Maybe... a little off. (The way she holds that radio, talking to the static when she thinks no one is looking... that's bit odd, isn't it?)

This version of Elizabeth has a normal pinky, which varies from earlier in the cannon. She does have a scar in the center of her back, like a circular impression with a large puncture wound in the center. This is usually hidden by her clothing, of course.

The Psychology

Personality. Elizabeth's personality is, on the surface, vastly different depending on which part of the cannon you're talking about. At the point from which I'm removing her from cannon, Elizabeth is quite a bit darker than her younger self. Though he still dreams of paintings pastries and Paris, Elizabeth is not the innocent girl she once was.

Elizabeth can handle her enemies with cold cruel condescension, with manipulation, or with an expert silver tongue. She's developed the skills to tell people what they want to hear, and to get what she needs by manipulating others. She's also capable of defending herself if things get rough. Not a fighter, but she can throw a wicked left hook. Add to that the skills to handle fire arms, cross bows, and an array of plasmids encoded into her DNA, Elizabeth has the ability to back up her no take-no-shit attitude.

Though she can come off very cold and calculating, Elizabeth is still a good person at heart. She will not abandon an innocent she has the power to save, even if the personal cost is vast. She is protective. Loyal. Fierce, and brave. She has high morals, but she is familiar with the evils of men. She does not trust easily, anymore.

Because of a dramatic shift in her circumstance (trying not to be too spoiler-y here!) Elizabeth had become not only quite the pessimist... but also just slightly insane. She keeps a radio, gifted by the man she knows will inevitably try to kill her, through which she hears the voice of her father, speaking through the static. Yet even that voice does not claim to be what it is not, it does not claim to be Booker, even though she desperately wishes it was. A few times, she's even seen him. Elizabeth is quite aware of her "tenuous mental state", and her Booker-voice explains that people weren't meant to see the things she's seen (see the history section for further detail).

Personality under duress. From the point at which I've taken her (spoilers ahead here) Elizabeth has witnessed and felt her own death countless times. She's shut the eyes of her own beautiful corpse. She's felt herself in a thousand worlds. She's had to kill madmen that would have slaughtered her otherwise. Danger at life threatening levels, as well as sanity-bending events are something Elizabeth has been dealing with cannonly before being placed here.

The bleaker things got, the darker Elizabeth's outlook became. Her Booker-voice was often the only thing that kept her going. In the end, it was (SPOILERS) only her life that would satisfy her debt. If she had not died-- or in this case, if she is allowed into the game, I believe her sanity will gradually begin to crack. I think her Booker-voice may start to become very real to her; that she may begin seeing him more and more. Due to the nature of the game, I think seeing a dark twisted Booker would be most awesome.

At her cannon point, "the doors were cracking" meaning Elizabeth was starting to see through the walls of reality. Now, when she was meta-Elizabeth, all powerful, with the key to all the doors in her hand, this was acceptable. Now, as a normal blood and flesh girl (only slightly mutated via plasmids) it rains havoc on her brain. Migraines, nose-bleeds, and memory-loss are all side effects. This stuff, I believe, would all gradually get worse.

If possible, I would enjoy having Elizabeth supplied with Eve, somehow. Eve fuels her powers but is also an addictive drug, which after extended use, has some pretty nasty side effects. Hallucinating, seeing "ghosts", mutation, insanity... Really fun stuff XD; so... yeah. Hopefully?

I also believe that Elizabeth may eventually resort to other drug use to cope with her slipping sanity; she has already picked up smoking (where as is used to make her cough) and "splicing" is a form of drug using... so, I don't think she wouldn't try other things if things got really unbearable.

Desires & Fears.

In terms of drive, Elizabeth would have nothing left from her cannon. She had ended the last man who crossed her, and she had re-payed the little girl who she had endangered in doing so. The only thing she really wanted beyond that was to see Booker again. I think "no-drive" is the kind of thing that can be quite damaging, if not looked after. I think this would have Elizabeth sort of subconsciously longing for somewhere to belong. Someone to belong with. Something to ease the emptiness.

Above, I believe I've already covered the basics of what could be used to drive her to madness. It's a pretty easy case, I think ^^;;.

Desires? Above all, I believe Elizabeth doesn't want to be alone. Specifically, I think she would do anything to see Booker again, so that's something that could be used against her with ease. I think she would want... anything to give her purpose. If not purpose, at very least comfort.

Fears? I think Elizabeth would fear going completely mad. Grotesque things trying to kill her are something she's grown used to, at this point. Though, that's not to say the creepy things here wouldn't scare her at all-- she's just developed skills that allow her to work through that fear and react in a way that benefits her survival.

Developing the darkness.

Though I believe I've already covered this above, I'll restate that I believe Elizabeth's sanity would really begin to suffer. In the game she does not get suicidal, but faces death with a kind of indifference (she tells one character that it would be "doing her a favor" to make her forget everything (via a lobotomy), so I do believe she could develop a kind of recklessness-- facing dangers she knows could kill her, if there was reason enough to do so (to help someone, for instance).

Skills & Abilities
Basic Skills.
*Singing
*Painting
*Playing the flute and the trumpet
*Code breaking
*lock picking
*Skills to operate weapons, lethal and no (crossbow, hand cannon, shot gun)
*First aid and emergency medical care

Supernatural & Superhuman.

Elizabeth has taken a few Plasmids, which rewrite her DNA to allow the use of certain superhuman abilities. All plasmids require the use of Eve, which is a kind of genetic wonder drug. If possible, I would like Elizabeth to be supplied with Eve, so she could eventually suffer the side effects of too much splicing. Plasmids cannot be used without enough eve. So, her plasmids are as follows...

Peeping Tom: Allows her to turn invisible and see through walls for a limited amount of time.

Iron side: Generates a temporary shield that absorbs bullets and reloads her weapons.

Old Man Winter: Allows her to shoot a beam of ice from her hand and freeze enemies solid.

Possession: Possesses an enemy to fight on your side. When the effects wear off, the enemy is automatically knocked out.

Skill & Ability growth. I don't really think her supernatural abilities would change too much, but I imagine she'll have the chance to develop her marksmanship. I think she'll probably use her non-lethal weapons less and less, because it's easier just to kill enemies... also, due to the nature of the RP effecting her.

Weaknesses

As explained above, Plasmids require eve for use-- so once she's out of eve, she can't use her powers. Splicing in itself is kind of a weakness though, as it is an addictive drug that can have some devastating side effects.

As explained previously, her tenuous mental state is also a point of weakness, as is her lack of purpose (which leaves her wanting and searching for something to attach herself too.

Physically, Elizabeth is not that strong. Head to head fighting is something she prefers to avoid, only because stealth is much more effective for her.

Elizabeth's morality could also be considered a point of weakness-- because she will do what she thinks is right, even at great personal cost. She could easily be manipulated or taken advantage of in a situation where she felt she had no choice but to do the right thing.

The only sound was the crackling of eerie radio static. The only light a brief flash of fire as a woman flicked her lighter in the dark. Click. The muddy firelight smeared across a beautiful face. Scarlet lips puckered as she sucked down the poison, a deep drag to burn it all away. The radio static spiked, and her blood colored fingertips darted to the dial, turning.

Now, Elizabeth knew there was no point to any of this. The radio was just a conduit, yes, but the dial had no power over what she would hear.

"Please..." the word came on a sigh of smoke, the darkness rushing in all but for the smouldering red cherry of her cigarette. The static continued. Elizabeth retracted her hand, gazing with sorrow upon the lonely little device.

"Booker, please..."

Only static. Elizabeth took a long burning drag and let the smokeburn consume her thoughts. It wasn't half enough to dent the heartache. Elizabeth placed her head upon the table and solemnly refused to allow herself to cry. Little girls cried, and she was a little girl no more.

"Just this once..."

Static.

"I can't take it anymore..."

White noise.

"I miss you..."

'Booker... I miss you too.' his voice crackled betwixt the radio static, but it was him, Booker-- even if it wasn't at all.

Elizabeth was never under any illusions; she understood the delicate state of her mind as much as her hallucinations did. Her Booker never claimed to be her father at all, even if... even if she wanted him to. Asked him to. It was never enough.

Her heels clicked sharply against the concrete as she strode recklessly down the fog swollen street.

This was all wrong. She wasn't supposed to be here. She felt like she was caught in a trap slowly closing, like she needed to run, to get away. Her pace quickened as she sped down the empty street, searching for even the tiniest scrap of comfort.

The mouth of a dimly lit alleyway would have to do. Elizabeth tucked herself under the flickering orange bulb, which was naked under the shattered plastic. Her hands shook as she fished a smoke from her purse. A cigarette... what she really needed was a good shot of eve.

The sickest part of it was that part of her didn't care if her hallucinations, if her Booker was real. She wanted to see him. Needed him. And it was a damn weak thing to fall infatuated with a lie. But there was no time for girlish dreaming-- Elizabeth suddenly heard footsteps from the depths of the ally.

"Who's there?" she called, voice twisted in tension and bad expectations.
